Had a brand-new a double room, which allowed us to enjoy stunningly beautiful view over a lake. The location of this hotel short walk to the bar restaurant and Carrickmacross nearby was ideal.

Great and charming hotel in the traditional style. Excellent breakfast - lots of meals. Absolutely fantastic room and an air conditioning, a lounge, and a carpet inside. Informative staff and great location close to the restaurant and bar, the North East and slope😀

Had an awesome time with my family, especially enjoying the spacious rooms and the perfectly cooked steaks at dinner. The pool was a great spot to unwind, and the sauna helped us relax after our golf rounds. Just a little hiccup with our initial room setup, but overall, it was a fantastic trip, and I can’t wait to come back! 🏌️‍♂️

The weekend highlighted really good grounds and gorgeous food, especially the fresh salmon, though it would greatly benefit from expanding vegan options. During the heatwave, the room became uncomfortably hot. Having a fan would have been a simple and effective solution. While the staff were attentive, the bed lacked comfort, which detracted from an otherwise lovely experience.

We were treated like royalty by the staff, particularly Sandra, were very good to ensure we were comfortable. The fine views from the lounge were amazing, perfect for a leisurely breakfast.

It was on the pricier side, but still within reason.

The room I had was really big with comfy beds and great views of the grounds. The bar area was a chill spot to relax after a long day, and the service was nice. Just wish the Wi-Fi was a bit faster, it kinda lagged sometimes. It.

The hotel grounds are fine with lovely views over the lake and golf course. The leisure facilities are excellent, with a nice large pool and comfortable changing rooms. The overall atmosphere is relaxing and picturesque!

Unfortunately, the room reminded me of it was stuck in a time warp, smelling more like a nursing home than a getaway. And I nearly mistook my breakfast for a holiday jingle, Christmas tunes in March? Seriously?

The staff provided excellent service, quickly accommodating my requests and ensuring I had everything needed for my work. The spacious room was impeccably clean and offered a comfortable workspace. The food quality was really good, especially the breakfast with a variety of options and locally sourced ingredients.

The gardens are well-maintained, with a peaceful retreat with fine views of the golf course and surrounding nature, ideal for leisurely strolls that are easily navigable for seniors like myself.
